# General

> Adjust account-wide LaunchBlitz settings that are not tied to one dashboard tab.

Use **General** for preferences that affect the whole LaunchBlitz workspace. These settings are useful when you want the app language or main navigation to behave consistently across every tab.

## What You Can Do Here

* Choose the interface language used across the app.
* Auto-hide the left navbar on desktop.
* Keep global preferences separate from tab-specific launch and trading settings.

## Open General Settings

    Go to **Profile > Preferences**.

    Open **General** in the preference list.
  </Step>

    Adjust the settings you need, then click **Save changes**.

## General Settings

| Setting                   | Use it for                                                        |
| ------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Interface Language**    | Choose the language used across LaunchBlitz.                      |
| **Auto-hide Left Navbar** | Keep the left rail hidden on desktop until you hover or focus it. |

## When To Use It

Turn on **Auto-hide Left Navbar** if you want more horizontal room for dashboard panels. Leave it off if you prefer navigation to stay visible while you work quickly between tabs.

  If you are changing several preferences at once, make General changes first, then move through the tab-specific sections before saving.
