# Image Studio

> Choose the default image generation provider used by Image Studio.

Use **Image Studio** preferences to choose which provider LaunchBlitz uses for image generation requests. This is useful when you want to switch providers for reliability or compare results.

## What You Can Do Here

* Choose the image generation provider for Image Studio.
* Switch between provider options when generation behavior or availability changes.
* Keep Image Studio defaults separate from image search shortcuts.

## Open Image Studio Settings

Open **Profile > Preferences**, then expand **Image Studio**. You can also use Image Studio tab settings when available.

## Generation

| Setting            | Options                             | Use it for                                                       |
| ------------------ | ----------------------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Image Provider** | **Main**, **Secondary**, **Backup** | Choose which provider Image Studio uses for generation requests. |

## When To Switch Providers

Try **Secondary** or **Backup** if generation requests are slower than expected, unavailable, or producing results you do not want. Switch back to **Main** when you want the standard provider.

  Image Studio provider settings affect generation only. Image search and selected tweet images are controlled from the Images and Create workflows.
