# Shortcuts

> Set LaunchBlitz hotkeys for tabs, fast actions, selected text, image search, and create-form helpers.

Use **Shortcuts** to move faster without reaching for buttons. In Preferences, this section may appear as **Keybinds**. It controls hotkeys for opening tabs, acting on selected tweet text, searching images, and editing the Create form.

## What You Can Do Here

* Set hotkeys for opening the Create, Vamp, Image, and Image Studio tabs.
* Configure fast actions such as **Instant Create Hotkey**, **Set Name Hotkey**, **Image Search**, and **Toggle Platform**.
* Require Ctrl/Cmd before selected-text hotkeys trigger.
* Choose whether **Set Name** appends to the current Create form name.
* Add name-field hotkeys for capitalization and ticker generation.

## Open Shortcuts

Open **Profile > Preferences**, then expand **Keybinds**.

Some dashboard tabs also expose tab-specific shortcut settings from their settings button.

## Tab Hotkeys

| Hotkey                    | Use it for              |
| ------------------------- | ----------------------- |
| **Open Create Tab**       | Jump to the Create tab. |
| **Open Vamp Tab**         | Jump to the Vamp tab.   |
| **Open Image Tab**        | Jump to the Image tab.  |
| **Open Image Studio Tab** | Jump to Image Studio.   |

## Action Hotkeys

| Action                         | What it does                                                          |
| ------------------------------ | --------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Instant Create Hotkey**      | Launch from selected text.                                            |
| **Set Name Hotkey**            | Send selected text to the Create form name.                           |
| **Image Search**               | Search images from selected text.                                     |
| **Toggle Platform**            | Switch between supported launch platforms.                            |
| **Cycle Image Highlight View** | Cycle image enhancement highlights between boxes, OCR lines, and off. |

## Create Form Hotkeys

When your cursor is in the name input, Create-specific hotkeys can run common name and ticker actions.

| Hotkey                      | What it does                                         |
| --------------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------- |
| **Apply T Button in Name**  | Runs the same capitalization action as the T button. |
| **Ticker From Acronym**     | Sets ticker to the name acronym.                     |
| **Ticker From First Word**  | Sets ticker to the first word.                       |
| **Ticker From Second Word** | Sets ticker to the second word.                      |
| **Ticker From Last Word**   | Sets ticker to the last word.                        |
| **Ticker From Full Name**   | Sets ticker from the full name.                      |

## Avoid Accidental Triggers

Turn on **Require Ctrl/Cmd for Hotkeys** if you often select text while reading. With it enabled, selected-text hotkeys only fire when you hold the modifier key.

  Keep launch-related shortcuts distinct from reading and selection habits. Test new hotkeys with small, non-urgent actions before relying on them during active launches.
