Debug nodes help explain what a graph did without changing its business outcome.
Enable Tracing
Enable Tracing requests persisted trace visibility for downstream execution. Place it before the part of a live workflow you need to investigate.
Graph tests already return detailed traces, so this node is mainly useful when diagnosing deployed runs.
Log
Log records a text message on an execution path. Use it to identify a branch, selected rule, or recoverable condition.
Do not include private keys, session values, access tokens, or other secrets in log messages. Keep high-volume logs short and remove temporary diagnostics after the issue is resolved.
Prefer descriptive function names and tests over permanent logs for normal behavior. Add logs where the runtime decision would otherwise be difficult to distinguish in a trace.
